Minecraft Snowy Village Seeds
By the ChunkScan Team · Updated August 2026
Snowy villages are built from snow, ice and spruce wood on the snowy plains, and about one seed in six has one within 1,024 blocks of spawn. In every seed below, all villages within 1,024 blocks of spawn are snowy villages, so the nearest village on the card is a snowy one. The list is sorted by that distance and comes from a cubiomes scan of the listed Java version.

What a snowy village gives you
A snowy village makes a striking winter base. The snowy plains are open and flat, igloos generate in the same biome, and the snow gives you snowballs and snow blocks. Trees are rare, so bring wood.
How the village type is measured
Each seed was generated with cubiomes, the world-generation library that mirrors the game, for the listed Java version. For every village within 1,024 blocks of spawn the scan works out its type from the biome at its centre, the same way the game picks the village style. Snowy villages only generate on the snowy plains. A seed is listed only if all its villages are snowy villages.
Can a snowy village be a zombie village?
Yes. About 2 % of snowy villages generate abandoned, with zombie villagers instead of villagers. They still count as snowy villages here; the zombie village list shows seeds whose only nearby village is abandoned.
Do snowy village seeds work on Bedrock?
Not these. Village positions and types differ on Bedrock Edition, so these seeds are for Java. The Bedrock snowy village list has seeds scanned for Bedrock, and the village finder checks your own world.
