Minecraft Nether Fortress Finder
Nether fortresses are the only reliable source of blaze rods — the fuel for brewing and the key to the End — and the only place wither skeletons spawn. This finder maps them on the Nether map for any seed, entirely in your browser, so your seed is never sent to a server. Positions are shown in Nether coordinates (1 Nether block = 8 Overworld blocks), centered on your spawn's portal-linked point. Positions differ between Java and Bedrock, so pick your edition first.

Why nether fortresses matter
Nether fortresses are the sprawling dark-brick structures that are the only reliable source of blaze rods — the fuel for brewing and the key to reaching the End. They are also the only place wither skeletons spawn, so their skulls (for summoning the Wither) come from fortresses too. A fortress near your spawn portal saves a long, dangerous Nether trek.
Reading the Nether map
The map opens in the Nether and marks each fortress. Remember that the Nether is compressed 8:1 against the Overworld — 100 blocks in the Nether is 800 blocks up top — so a fortress that looks far on the map may be a short overworld walk from a well-placed portal.
Java and Bedrock
Nether fortresses generate in both editions, but the same seed places them differently on Java and Bedrock, so choose your edition above. The loot and mob spawns are the same on both platforms.
