ChunkScan is a free Minecraft seed lookup tool. When we say "we" or "us" in this policy, we mean the data controller listed above.
What data we collect
Without your consent: We do not collect any personal data. ChunkScan works without cookies or tracking. We do not require accounts or store any personal information on our servers.
If you accept cookies: We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google may set cookies on your device to serve personalized advertisements and measure ad performance. This may include:
- Cookies for ad personalization and frequency capping
- Anonymous identifiers for cross-site ad measurement
- Your IP address (processed by Google)
We do not have access to the personal data Google collects through these cookies. Google processes this data as an independent data controller under their own Privacy Policy.
Legal basis
The legal basis for processing data through advertising cookies is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25 TDDDG). You may withdraw consent at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Data retention
We do not store personal data on our servers. Google's advertising cookies have varying lifetimes (typically 6–24 months). When you withdraw consent, we remove Google's scripts and clear their cookies from your browser. Your consent preference is stored in local storage indefinitely until you clear your browser data or change your choice.
If you reject cookies
No cookies are set, no ad scripts are loaded, and no data is shared with third parties. The site functions identically — you just won't see ads.

- Liked seeds (stored only on your device)
This data never leaves your browser and is not sent to any server.

- Access and delete your data — since we don't store personal data on our servers, clearing your browser data removes everything

Web fonts (Silkscreen, OFL licensed) are self-hosted on our servers — no external font CDN requests are made.
