Bedrock Island Seeds Verified by Scanning
Bedrock Seeds · By the ChunkScan Team · Updated 2026-09-18
Island and coastal spawns are among the most requested Bedrock seeds, and among the most frequently faked. Most lists online recycle Java seeds or quote structure coordinates that only hold on one edition. ChunkScan scans Bedrock world generation directly, so every seed here has its spawn biome and nearby structures confirmed by the same algorithms the game uses. The 20 seeds matching this filter, drawn from over 1.7 million scanned seeds, share a common signature: spawn on or beside water, with ocean ruins and shipwrecks close enough to reach on the first day. Several also place ocean monuments and trial chambers within 450 blocks. This guide explains what the filter selects for, how the scanner checks it, and which seeds from the list deserve a closer look.

What defines an island or coastal spawn
An island spawn puts you on a small landmass surrounded by ocean, while a coastal spawn puts you on a beach with open land behind you. Both share the same practical traits: water on at least one side, a beach or shore biome near the spawn point, and ocean-only structures within walking distance. Ocean ruins and shipwrecks generate only in ocean and beach biomes, so their distance from spawn is a reliable proxy for how close the coast is. Half of the seeds in this set spawn directly in a beach biome. Others spawn in taiga, plains, dark forest or old growth birch forest but still have an ocean ruin within 200 blocks, which means the shoreline is close.
How the scanner verifies Bedrock seeds
ChunkScan runs a dedicated Bedrock scanner that uses 32-bit seeds and the Mersenne Twister random number generator the game uses for structure placement. Biome generation on Bedrock matches Java for versions after 1.18, so biome checks use the same world generation code. For each seed the scanner records the spawn biome, samples a biome grid out to 512 blocks from spawn, and locates structures within 1024 blocks. Coordinates in the list are the structure origin, and the distance value is measured from the spawn point. Nothing is copied from user submissions or third party lists. If a structure appears in the data, the generator placed it there.
Seed -2073338563: ocean ruin at the spawn point
This seed spawns in a dark forest with an ocean ruin only 11 blocks away at x -232, z 88. That is close enough to see from the spawn point, and it confirms the shoreline sits right beside the forest edge. Trial chambers generate 161 blocks away at x -360, z 168, giving an early underground objective before you need iron. A ruined portal at x -520, z 40 sits 298 blocks out, and a second ocean ruin appears at x -568, z 152. A village at x 88, z 280 is 370 blocks away for trading and beds. Dark forest spawns also mean mushrooms and dark oak wood on day one.
Seed -2062576758: beach spawn with monument nearby
This is the clearest coastal start in the set. Spawn is in a beach biome with an ocean ruin 25 blocks away at x 424, z -200. A shipwreck at x 536, z -104 is 171 blocks out, and shipwreck chests often hold iron, emeralds and treasure maps. An ocean monument at x 248, z 88 is 332 blocks from spawn, which is unusually close and makes this a strong seed for early prismarine and sponge runs. Trial chambers at x 184, z -440 and a ruined portal at x 88, z -440 round out the nearby structures, both within 400 blocks.
Seed -2055115588: two ruins, two wrecks, one monument
Spawn is in plains rather than on a beach, but the structure list shows water in every direction. Ocean ruins sit at x 104, z -168 and x 40, z 40, at 91 and 152 blocks. Two shipwrecks follow at x 248, z -248 and x 136, z 136. An ocean monument at x 232, z -328 is 294 blocks away, the closest monument in this set. Trial chambers at x 216, z -392 are 335 blocks out. A plains spawn with this many ocean structures usually means a small grassy landmass with ocean on multiple sides, which is what most players mean by an island seed.
Other seeds worth checking
Seed -2046164731 spawns on a beach with a village 218 blocks away at x -216, z -312 and an igloo 350 blocks away at x -376, z -360, so a cold biome borders the coast. Seed -2067062724 pairs a beach spawn with a jungle temple at x -248, z -200 and a monument at x -376, z 408. Seed -2049924052 has three ocean ruins and a shipwreck within 275 blocks of a plains spawn. Seed -2052897184 spawns in forest with a pillager outpost only 91 blocks away, which is dangerous early but useful for allays and crossbows. Seed -2128292502 spawns in taiga with two trial chambers within 264 blocks.
Practical tips for island starts on Bedrock
Enter the seed exactly as shown, including the minus sign. Bedrock accepts negative 32-bit seeds directly. Ocean ruins and shipwrecks are the best early loot on these seeds, so craft a boat before anything else. Shipwrecks can spawn partially buried or underwater, so bring a door or scaffolding for air pockets. Monuments need water breathing or a conduit, so treat them as a mid-game goal. Trial chambers on Bedrock generate deep underground, usually between y -20 and y -40, so dig at the listed coordinates. If wood is scarce on a small island, the ruined portal chest often contains enough obsidian to reach the Nether early.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do these seeds work on Java Edition?
Biomes will match on Java for versions after 1.18, but structures will not. Bedrock uses a different random number generator for structure placement, so ocean ruins, shipwrecks and monuments will be in different positions or absent.
Why are there only 20 matching seeds?
The filter requires a beach or ocean-adjacent spawn plus ocean structures within a few hundred blocks. Most scanned seeds spawn inland. Of over 1.7 million seeds scanned, 20 met every condition, which is why each is worth checking.
Are the structure coordinates exact?
They mark the structure origin chunk as computed by the generator, accurate to within a chunk. Distances are measured from the spawn point. Ocean ruins and shipwrecks may be buried or underwater at the listed location, so look below the surface.
