Minecraft Cherry Grove Trail Ruins Seeds
By the ChunkScan Team · Updated August 2026
Cherry groves and trail ruins both came with the 1.20 update, and both suit players who like to build and explore slowly. These seeds put a grove and a set of buried ruins near each other, so you can dig for sherds and then build with cherry wood. Every seed below was scanned and has a cherry grove and trail ruins near spawn. Of the Java 26.3 seeds we scanned, 31,190 have the biome within 512 blocks of spawn and the structure within 1,000 blocks; for half of them the structure is 592 blocks away or closer. Versions with at least 12 such seeds in our scan: 1.20, 1.21, 26.2 and 26.3.

Archaeology finds and a pink build site
Brushing suspicious gravel at trail ruins can give pottery sherds, the wayfinder, raiser, shaper and host armor trims, the Relic music disc, dyes and candles. The grove gives cherry wood and pink petals for decoration. Together they make an early base with plenty of decorative blocks.
Do trail ruins generate in cherry groves?
No. Trail ruins generate in taigas, snowy taigas, old growth taigas, old growth birch forests and jungles. On these seeds the ruins are in one of those biomes near spawn, not inside the grove. Most of a trail ruin is buried, so look for terracotta and mud bricks poking out of the ground.
How do I dig up trail ruins?
Craft a brush from a feather, a copper ingot and a stick. Use it on suspicious gravel to get the item inside; mining the block breaks it and loses the item. Dig carefully around the visible blocks, because most of the ruin is underground.
