Minecraft Bedrock Ancient City Seeds
By the ChunkScan Team · Updated August 2026
Ancient cities hold swift sneak books, echo shards and disc fragments, guarded by sculk shriekers and the warden. Every seed below was scanned on Bedrock Edition and has an ancient city within 600 blocks of spawn, closest first. Open one to see where to dig down.

Why Java ancient city seeds miss on Bedrock
Since 1.18 a seed gives both editions the same terrain and biomes, but structures are placed differently. An ancient city under spawn in Java can be far away on Bedrock, or not there at all. These seeds come from the Bedrock scan, so the city is where the list says it is.
Reading the distance
Distances are horizontal, from the world spawn point to the city. The city itself lies deep underground, below Y -40, so walk to the coordinates and dig down. Ancient cities exist from 1.19 on.
