Minecraft Bedrock Ice Spikes Village Seeds
By the ChunkScan Team · Updated August 2026
Bedrock Edition seeds for phones, consoles and Windows. Structure positions differ from Java, so these are different seeds. Ice spikes are a rare variant of snowy plains with tall towers of packed ice. They never have a village, but snowy plains do, so these seeds pair the spikes with a village nearby. Every seed below was scanned and has ice spikes and a village near spawn. Of the Bedrock 26.3 seeds we scanned, 19,462 have the biome within 512 blocks of spawn and the structure within 1,000 blocks; for half of them the structure is 362 blocks away or closer. Versions with at least 12 such seeds in our scan: 1.18, 1.19, 1.20, 1.21, 26.2 and 26.3.

Villagers and packed ice for a snow base
The village gives beds, food and villagers, which matter more in snowy land where crops and animals are scarce. Ice spikes give packed ice for fast ice roads and for crafting blue ice. Strays and polar bears spawn in the snow, so build shelter early.
Do villages spawn in ice spikes?
No. Villages never generate in the ice spikes biome. Snowy villages spawn in snowy plains, which usually surround the spikes. On these seeds the village is in a nearby biome within 1,000 blocks of spawn.
How do I mine packed ice?
Packed ice drops nothing when mined with a normal tool. Use a pickaxe with silk touch to collect it. It does not melt, so it works well for ice roads and boat tracks.
